Tablets in buses

Surprise... Surprise... Surprise...     

When i boarded a VOLVO bus while coming back from Bengaluru Airport i was surprised to see Android tablets fitted in the headrest of the seats. Ohhh Dear !!! Bangalore is surely a high tech city and it was another first in india i suppose. BMTC had introduced these android tablets 3 months back and they were fully functional and were working perfectly. You can browse internet, Watch videos, listen music using these tablets.

I was not aware of this as i am not a frequent flyer, a highwaylover you see...

The tablets used here are built by EAFT technologies and they work on WiFi installed in the bus. The network used is TATA DOCOMO and speed was pretty OK. You can watch videos.

So now i feel it is worth paying Rs 240.00 for the travel from Airport to Electronics City.
