Copy Paste has its own success story:

1.       Internet explorer is built on a browser caller Mosaic, most of the functionalities were same and to build further Microsoft hired many Netscape developers which was leading browser at that time and a threat to Microsoft monopole.

2.       Google copied the idea of search engine with related advertising from Overture Services. Overture services was later acquired by yahoo and yahoo started offering yahoo Search marketing after that. Overture was offering services via www.goto.com

3.       Multiply accused facebook for copying its new feed feature as well as video sharing.

4.       There is another lawsuit from Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss who claimed facebook is their idea which was copied by Zuckerberg incidentally their college mate. As per them it is copy paste of their portal www.connectU.com

5.       ConnectU team is also sued from i2hub.com owner Wayne Chang for not including him as co-inventor.

6.       VISA and Master card copied the model introduced by Diner’s club and they are the leading global payment technology companies now.

7.       IBM introduced its personal machinf taking the best from Apple and Commodore machines.

8.       Food chain concept was first introduced by White castle in 1921 for selling its hamburgers which was later used by MacDs etc and became another success story. Owners Anderson and Ingram have same status in burger industry which Henry Ford has in Automobiles.

9.       Nokia won legal battle from Apple for the f its patented technology in GMS, UMTS and Wifi areas. It also opened chances of more legal cases against Android application builders.

10.    Bajaj called TVS a copycat when they said the digital twin spark ignition (DTSi) technology is IP of Bajaj and TVS is using it in name of controlled combustion variable timing intelligent (CC-VTi) technology. This got settled in Supreme Court in TVS’s favor
