Indian bike industry has many segments. You can buy auto gear two-wheeler scooters, economy bike, performance bikes, premium bikes and super-premium bikes in India. These bikes spread over entry-level CD Dawn to super-premium Harleys and Indian bikes.
I am putting some quick facts about this industry. These are based upon internet search and available forums. There is a chance that you may find it old or even wrong, although I am putting my best effort to verify the facts.
It only covers the 100-200 CC segment bikes and it excludes scooter and premium bike segments.
